Junior Scuba Diver

PADI offers this pre-entry level program for children that are not yet ready to become fully certified. The PADI Junior Scuba Diver program allows children the opportunity to experience diving with a professional and at the same time gain valuable experience. This will help the child to develop the concepts more effectively. Once the child is ready, the certification can be upgraded by completing the final classroom, pool, and open water dive segments of the Junior Open Water Dive program.

The PADI Junior Scuba program is an exciting course which allows children to meet new people and learn new skills. The program is tailored in a safe and comfortable environment for the child.

This PADI Junior Scuba program is perfect, not only for children, but also for vacationers or people who plan to only dive a couple times a year.

As a sub-program of the PADI Open Water Diver program, the Junior Scuba program allows you to get certified quickly and easily by minimizing time constraints.This program consists of 3 separate sections:

This PADI Junior Scuba Diver teaching model has been found to work well with today’s busy lifestyle, while still providing each person or child with an effective personalized learning experience.

Once the PADI Scuba Diver certification is obtained, you can dive under the supervision of a Divemaster, Assistant Instructor or Instructor.

Prerequisites:

Minimum 10 Years of age for Junior Scuba Diver and 15 for Scuba Diver
Good Health, Reasonable Fitness and comfort in the water
A Completed Medical Form is required
