Youth Programs

Children are naturally curious and often drawn to water sports.  It is not surprising that children may want to learn how to snorkel or even dive.  Learning to scuba dive can open entire new horizons for family vacations.

Working with children and introducing them to the fun of scuba diving is one of our passions.  PADI has designed several excellent programs specifically focusing on children ages 8 to 14.  The following are the courses designed by PADI:

Involving children in the above youth diving programs requires a partnership between the child, the parent, and the instructor.  It relies on two way communication between all parties involved for maximum effectiveness.

Children are physically, mentally and emotionally ready to learn to dive at different levels.  That is why the PADI system incorporates several levels of children programs; each of which is designed for a specific age group and/or maturity level of the child.  This PADI system will allow each child to work their way up to future levels of certification and provide them with a start to their new adventure.
